Bite Size LOVES giving gifts.
I kind of have a thing for giving people gifts. Not because its their birthday, or because it is a holiday. Sometimes you can’t be pressured into getting the right gift, it just has to appear! Regardless, I get that the holiday season is THE time to give and get gifts, so this list is just what you need right now. Whether you need a present for someone that is already a health nut, or someone that is trying to make lifestyle changes, this list is full of options that people will actually USE.
The worst thing is when someone gives you a gift where you’re like.. What on earth am I going to do with this? I pride myself on being a pretty great gift giver, so I think you should probably take my advice on the gifts I have on this list. You pretty much can’t go wrong.
Since we are all equal opportunity around here, this isn’t a list of what to buy for ladies and what to buy for men… this is a list to buy for AWESOME people of any gender.
Oh an P.S. all of this is stuff I have and LOVE, or stuff I’m hoping someone will give ME for the holidays!
For the eco-friendly person:
Glass tupperware set: We all know we need to reduce our use of plastics, and these tupperwares will last FOREVER! I got mine on Amazon, but you can find them at local stores as well!
Bamboo utensil set: If you live in Barcelona, you can find these at Yes Future Grocery in Sant Antoni, or at many local stores that sell in bulk. Or if not, try these!
Aluminum water bottle: I bought mine on Amazon and take it everywhere with me.
For the beauty lover:
Dieciocho Skincare: I was introduced to these products over a year ago, and they have changed my skin for the better! I love the moisturizer, and they graciously offered a discount to Bite Size readers for the holidays. Use code BITESIZE10 at checkout.
A massage or nail appointment: I am so low maintenance when it comes to beauty- I don’t really ever wear makeup, and the only thing I spend money on is Dieciocho face products. However, NO ONE will complain if you gift them a massage or an appointment to get their nails done! I love this local salon: Blossom Beauty Lounge.
For the foodie:
Good coffee or tea: This is such a versatile gift- no matter where you live, you can find high quality coffee. Add a mug, and you have a complete gift!
Kombucha: If you live in Barcelona, check out Kashaya Kombucha .. they have seasonal flavors and are all locally made!
Slow Food Guide- Barcelona: This is SUCH a cool present for someone coming to visit Barcelona, or someone that lives in or near the city.
A cookbook: this is the perfect option for someone that is looking to improve their eating habits and is new to the kitchen OR someone that already loves to cook!
For the traveler:
Packing cubes: These are a LIFESAVER for a traveller- I use them every time I go on a trip! I have these and I don’t love them, so I am thinking of upgrading to these.
A book or gift certificate for kindle book: ALWAYS a good idea! Or if you REALLY love this person and they don’t already use an e-reader, get them a Kindle or other e-reader.
For the fitness lover:
A legit jump rope: I received one of these as a gift years ago, and still use it all the time! Totally worth it.
Massage balls: Personally, I use a tennis ball.. But these are a great gift for someone that is always complaining about their muscle knots!
GoPrimal whey protein: A lot of people just buy whatever protein powder they can find for cheap… but if you are going to take a protein supplement, it is WORTH IT to get one that is high quality! I love the flavors of GoPrimal, and it is one of the only ones I’ve found that doesn’t give me a stomach ache. Use code BITESIZE10 for a discount on your purchase!
All in all, the holidays are really about spending time with the people you care about- if you are short on cash, or don’t believe in giving gifts just to give them, I totally get that! However, if you are going to spend money on the ones you love, these are some amazing options that people will actually USE.
Let me know- what are you gifting your loved ones for the holidays? Any great gift ideas I have missed out on here?
